Stedham Rangers: Woodland Activities

Just 200 yards from our school, our Stedham Rangers explore, discover and learn in the great outdoors.

Just 200 yards from our school, nestled in the heart of the beautiful South Downs, our Stedham Rangers enjoy a wonderful opportunity to explore, discover and learn in the great outdoors. Surrounded by magnificent oak trees, graceful silver birches and towering firs, our woodland setting is a truly special place.

From building dens and lighting fires to whittling wood, tying knots and identifying trees and plants, our children develop practical skills, confidence, independence and a deep appreciation for the natural world.

Through woodland walks, exploration and hands-on adventures, our woodland activities encourage curiosity, creativity, teamwork and resilience, all whilst making the most of the beautiful countryside right on our doorstep.
